“Mast Shoes has been a great resource for me. Many
of my patients come to me with ill-fitted shoes, causing the vast majority
of their foot complaints. The staff at Mast know and understand how to fit
shoes, a farity today. They are experts at what they do. In addition to being
professional and well informed, the staff at the Mast are patient and take
the time to ensure the best possible fit. They’re a great asset to our
community.”
-Mark J. Klein, Podiatrist
"I send patients to Mast Shoes regularly, because I know
they will get great customer service. Mast employees are very knowledgeable
and friendly, and they
take the time to ensure my patients have a proper fitting shoe. Mast Shoes
has a nice selection of quality shoe gear for a variety of activities. I get
a lot of positive feedback from patients who have shopped there.”

“Many of the people I see in the office have foot
problems as a result of ill-fittying footwear and have specialized shoe wear
needs. I have found the staff at Mast
Shoes to be knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, professional, and indispensable
in providing expert service to these customers, as well as those who just need
some comfortable, fashionable shoes. In fact, that’s where I go for my
shoes! Their exemplary service and shoe selection greatly benefit our community.”
-James Holmes, M.D. Orthopedic Surgeon
“Dear Michael: I’m sitting here in Santiago, Spain, wearing the
sandals you sold me. Over 800 miles in 28 straight days and my feet were never
a problem! I’ve seen hundreds (thousands?) of other people out here this
month and only saw two other pairs of sandals – they’re all in
big heavy hot hiking boots. MANY people have commented on my sandals and asked
about them. One person even took my photo because I was wearing sandals! I
can’t tell you how many people I’ve seen patching their blisters
from those hiking boots. And my feet were cool and light and free and fine – Thanks
so much for recommending these sandals!”

“
Dear MG: In September I came into Mast Shoes and bought a pair of sneakers.
While I was there you gave me a tip on a book called “The Search for
the pink Headed Duck.” Thanks for the tip. I really enjoyed the book.
I always like shopping at Mast Shoes and a great book recommendation was
a nice bonus. Thanks for all of the nice people at the store.”

“
Dear Mast Shoes: I was incredibly impressed with you customer service last
week and would like to thank you for the assistance which I received. I came
into your store needing help with a pair of clogs that I bought from you in
the Fall…Your salesperson helped me with friendly service, care and a
smile. This might sound silly to you but this overwhelmed me so much I wanted
to write this thank you letter. In today’s day and age where there is
often such a lack of trust, respect, and overall customer service with day
to day purchases, I was completely taken aback with the care your store showed,
especially since my purchase was not recent…I can’t think of
any other time in my life where this has happened or another store where
I would
have been trusted like this and would not have been told with little sympathy
to either wait a long time for my shoes, or that I would have to purchase
a new pair. I thought to myself what a difference this experience made
and want
to congratulate you on still being a business that prides itself on customer
service. It will definitely stay with me and make me shop with you in the
future to know that I can go to a store that still has the ability to make
a sale
personal. I feel that good deeds these days need to be noticed and felt
compelled to let you know that I was appreciative. Thank you!”

“ Dear Mast Employees: On several occasions I have requested shoe
boxes from your store. Your employees always find me several, sometimes many,
and they
find them willingly and kindly. I want to thank you for sharing the boxes.
I use them in my second grade classroom in Ann Arbor. Most recently,
my husband cut them in half so they could be squished together as protection
for apples
decorated using toothpicks on Johnny Apple seed day. In the past they
have been Valentine boxes, vessels for ceramic art work, and musical instruments.
My class and I remain grateful to you.”
